On February 3rd, I left York County headed to Pasbwadom, Haiti. I had carefully planned my travel dates to avoid being in the streets on days of protest and mayhem. Trust me when I say I do not ever intend to encounter barricaded streets in Haiti. I am not a thrill seeker. I do not look for this kind of "adventure". However, life in Haiti often leads you where you did not want to be. While on the tarmac in Miami, my carefully made plans unraveled.
