ASAPH Soccer Academy - We'll be playing small tournaments each month...using soccer to teach good sportsmanship, leadership, and cooperation. And we'll have fun! GOOOOOOAAAAALLLLLL!
A brass band in Haiti is called a FANFARE. The number of instruments available to the ASAPH FANFARE just doubled! Thanks to friends in PA, we received three more trombones and five more trumpets. (THANKS WFL for shipping them here!)

Jason Stoltzfus is building this office space for me. This is the 'brain' of the ASAPH Teaching Ministry. It's where I write, translate, compose, communicate...and watch World Cup games.
FOOD FOR THE POOR is building houses by the dozens here in our area. This one is right next door to me. The go from start to finish in about 2 weeks. Equipped with toilet (no running water) and solar powered lighting system.
The 20' x 36' roof of the Teaching Center is now part of a water collection system. We used PVC to make our own spouting, and connected it to a 200 gallon tank. Now all we need is rain. Maybe October.
World Cup Soccer. I bought a TV and an antenna to follow the games here at my house. The picture was fuzzy. For the first game we couldn't see the ball, only the players. Then we got it a bit clearer. Not HD quality, but we could 'live' the excitement.

"Running Water" 15-20 gallons per trip. It's about 150 yards to the hand-pump well from here.
The shower stall. No dripping faucet here. No faucet at all. Bring your bucket with you.
Lights! Trusty generator is used about 8 hours per week.
