Early in the summer, I signed a contract with NATCOM to install a cable that would give me reliable internet access. (Thanks, Kevin S. for making it all happen.) It took a while, but finally the men showed up and connected a tiny fiber optic cable to my house.
Thanks to that tiny plastic cable, I am online right now, typing on my laptop and about to send these lines onto the website DIRECTLY FROM MY HOUSE IN PASBWADOM.
This is a great step. It's intimidating in that I'll now have to judge what deserves time on-line and what doesn't.
I've been obliged over the past few years to ride on the back of a motorcycle in order to send or receive an email! It sounds like dark ages kind of stuff, but it's what we had to do. :) I'm glad those days are perhaps behind me.
I'm thankful for the new setup. Look forward to this website being up-to-date in the future. No more waiting until I am in the USA or sending things via third party for updates.
