I apparently brought with me a few bacteria in my belly from Haiti. I'm feeling a bit criminal in that I did not declare them on my customs forms...and they were living creatures. :) The little critters bought me a ticket to the York Hospital for two days worth of trips to the bathroom with an I-V in my arm.
We're now busy making arrangements to visit as many congregations as we can while i'm in PA. Dallastown churches have been gracious in arranging for me make presentations. And, it turns out the LCMC (Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ) are having an annual national gathering in Colorado in October, and Haiti is on the list of topics they will feature. SO, they want me to be there, and I'm making plans to do so. Colorado...a place I've always wanted to visit. Give thanks to the Lord, He's good. His love endures forever. The steel buildings are in Haiti! Water For Life will be working on moving the container through customs and then out to the Passe-bois-d'orme area. That could easily take a month. BUT, we're getting closer every day to having the whole ASAPH building project for 2012 completed. It's an exciting time. Coming home is always so inspiring for me. I begin to think more clearly the moment I leave the work site. I've been developing (in my mind) several projects that I believe can be a blessing to folks in Haiti as we move forward. Election 2012. Elections say more about the voters than they do about the candidates. Where is America headed? Glad to know that God is our Rock...never changing, solid, sure. There I stand.
