I'm in the USA for two months. It's great (as always) to be with family and friends again. I am always thankful for the days I can spend here.
We're planning a concert for April 6th...at 6:00. The Band from Christ Lutheran Church will be playing. If you've attended past concerts, we'll be doing a few of the same things and a few new things. The ASAPH horns will be there playing along on several songs. If all goes well, there will be a duet version of JESUS LOVES ME featuring drums and saxophone. It's an idea that comes from a concert we did in Haiti. It was effective there. We'll see how effective we can make it here in PA. We'll also be auctioning several Haitian paintings again. These are smaller (about 11 x 17 or so) than previous paintings. If your walls are full, you might find a small place for one of these. All proceeds from this concert go to the daily needs of ASAPH Teaching Ministry. A very special thank you to all of those who will prepare the room, prepare the sound, prepare the food, and prepare the music. They do it all for free. And it's all for people they don't even know. It's a great picture of what THE CHURCH can do.
