I had so much fun on Sunday. Everyone should have a day like that in their lives...or two. I have a couple of songs in mind for the next one.
Check out http://youtu.be/vrUIYRq6iKc to see the film that didn't want to play on Sunday. Contact me if you'd like to hear the official results concerning funds raised on Sunday. I'm going to avoid posting it for reasons mentioned at the concert. Now I'm looking ahead to my flight date. I'll be here a few days after the SuperB

Six months until launch. Things are moving forward, by God's grace. Health insurance looking good...cheaper and better at the same time.
I'm looking into Commissioned To Every Nation...CTEN. They seem like they might be a good fit for my situation. Went out and bought furniture for my house last night. That was fun. Shelves, table, stove. I want to do as much as I can using things that are typically Haitian. Some items are helpful if purchased here, however...better quality and more reasonable price. It's a delicate balance. You don't want to ship e Rolling towards February.
I'm still working on the new arrangements for the future. Mission agency, insurance, mail service, etc. And of course making contacts with more and more people regarding the ministry. It's amazing how God works in specific situations. I've been blessed by the amazing people God has put around me. Creative, willing, loving people. It is humbling to see the selfless good that people are capable of doing. It's like seeing the hand of God. LET YOUR LIGHT SO SHINE BEFORE OTHERS, SO THAT THEY MAY SEE YOUR GOOD WORKS AND GIVE GLORY TO YOUR FATHER IN HEAVEN! Jesus said that. It's written in Matthew 5:16. I've been struck lately by how much American culture is twisting. It feels like we're on a slope, and we'll keep sliding no matter what people do. I read in 2 Chronicles about how at certain points in Israel's history, defeat was inevitable. It was from God. No person could have led them away from it. It was bigger than that. Better to live in the gentle palm of God's hand than under it. |
